The Ritz Hotel 嘅afternoon tea 聽就聽得多，但究竟咩原因又差唔多£70一個人呢？ 我同我D朋友就去左試下！
首先，booking 超full，我地3個人要大概一個月前book。我地個afternoon tea set 無包champagne，所以大概£70一個。The Ritz Hotel嘅裝潢好華麗高級，有一種宮廷嘅感覺。 服務一流，每一個服務員地態度都好好，亦有cloakroom放低大褸。
My friends and I recently visited the Ritz Hotel to try its infamous afternoon tea sets which costs £70 per person.
We made the reservation through Open Table and it was fully booked for the next few weeks and so we had to reserve our table for 3 a month in advance. We picked the cheapest afternoon tea set which costs early £70, and it does not include champagne. The interior of the hotel was extremely glamours, with golden, white and pink as the theme colours. We were quickly served and brought to the cloak room to put down our coats.

| The afternoon tea set
我地個tea set 有兩碟三文治，我對沙拉醬敏感，所以通常食tea既時候，餐廳都會比幾件無沙拉醬既三文治我。最底下係三文治，上面有scones，最頂係甜點。三文治味道普通，感覺好似係想令你覺得飽多過好味，只有普通既三文魚味，蛋味，青瓜等等。Scones 比較好，鬆化，但忌廉唔夠甜，稱唔上好好食。一唸到咁貴就覺得唔值。最令人失望，就係甜點。無咩新意，有macaron，幾件朱古力甜品，生果撻。只係好甜好甜。奇怪既係，我地有三個人，但每樣甜品只有一份，所以要分。見到其他人兩人都係一樣份量。我地唔清楚係咪可以任添，但服務員無講，而甜品一D都唔好食，所以我地都無問。真系唔知道究竟係得咁小定可以添，不過無論係點，服務員都應該講清楚D。
As I am allergic to ceasar/ salad dressing, I always request my sandwiches to come without mayo, and restaurants typically make me a separate plate of sandwiches. The bottom plate of the tea set were sandwiches, then scones on the second layer, and desserts on the top layer. The selection of sandwiches were quite typical with salmon, egg, cucumber etc. The taste was also very normal. The scones were better in terms of the texture, but again wasn't amazing. The cream provided in particular was also not sweet enough. The desserts were the most disappointing. There were two macarons, a fruit tart, and a few chocolate desserts which were all extremely sweet. Each dessert came in one portion despite having three of us, so we had to split the desserts and share. We saw that the other tables with two guests also had the same portions, and was a bit confused. I understand that some restaurants do provide limitless refill, but it normally applies only to scones/ sandwiches. We didn't bother to ask as we weren't told about any refills in the beginning, and the desserts just didn't taste that good for us to ask. I wish that they either give us more desserts or tell us if we can refill.

總括而言，我地都幾失望。£70真係太多，唔值得 :( 有好多其他酒店同餐廳都有更好既下午茶，下次再同大家分享！係留言話我知邊度食下午茶最好味！
All in all, we were really disappointed and it wasn't worth the money. I do prefer having afternoon tea at other much cheaper restaurants/ hotels. Let me know about your experience at The Ritz or where your favourite afternoon tea location is!
